C.L. Riley's first published piece was a high school newspaper article, featuring none other than music icon David Bowie. Yes, she was a 1980's rocker, big hair included. Today, she is what some might consider a genre-confused author. She prefers the label "genre-diverse" as she writes in several genres -- MC (Biker) Romance; Rockstar Romance; Reverse Harem; Paranormal; Fantasy; and Sci-Fi Alien Romance. She also enjoys working with other authors and participates in short-story collections and anthologies. But her books share several similarities...strong female characters, suspense, steamy encounters, and alpha males that could be considered dark and dangerous.
She has two adult children, three furry family members, and lives in Oregon. She has a soft spot for hurting people and continues in her day job as a vocational counselor and social service rep. Her clients and her readers mean the world to her. She is an avid reader who had difficult time putting down a book to write one.
