Frank Kelso

Frank Kelso grew up in Kansas City, Missouri, the origin of the Santa Fe Trail. Writing western-themed books fit in with his upbringing. Frank has won numerous awards for his writing. His short story, “Tibby’s Hideout” in The Posse anthology, which Frank edited and published, received the Will Rogers Medallion Silver Award for 2017and a finalist for the Western Fictioneer’s Peacemaker Award. Frank’s full-length novels have received acclaim and five of his novels have been Amazon Best Sellers. The Apprenticeship of Nigel Blackthorn has over 215 5-star reviews on Amazon and California Bound has 120 5-star reviews on Amazon. North in the Spring, sequel to The Apprenticeship, was released October 15, 2019 and became a Best Seller and is a Finalist for the 2020 Will Rogers Medallion Award for Best Western Novel. Juan’s Revenge, the sequel to California Bound, was released Mar 10, 2019.
