She was once a city gal living in Orange County, California until fate whisked her away to the Caribbean where life was very different from the one she was accustomed to. Trading in her fashionable heels for flip-flops was quite a change, but led her to a lifestyle that allowed for a writing career to flourish.
As of current she is residing in the picturesque city of St. Petersburg, Florida where she is teaching again part time.
Her love for paranormal stories and urban legends began at a young age, when staying up all night to watch spooky movies or reading a scary book started a lifelong passion. Lorraine is no stranger to the paranormal as well, having encountered many unexplainable events during her lifetime. Many of those events have been woven into her fiction tales.
Early published novels included three books geared for the middle grades to YA, and an educational book. Lorraine took a dare and attempted to write two books in the erotica field with a co-author.
Jonathan’s Locket, was a 2014 winner in the Reader’s Favorite contest earning a Silver Award and a finalist in the Wind Dancer Contest. This young adult novel featured some of the local legends out of Grand Cayman.
Her most recent work is a Supernatural trilogy which features strong women in powerful roles in a most secretive society that uses ancient magic to help rescue souls. The Good Teacher, On Borrowed Time and Last Rites are what she considers to be some of her finest works.
When not writing you can find her reading, binge watching Netflix, (chocolate included) or boating around Tampa Bay with her husband.
Her collection can be found @ Amazon.
