Nanette M. Buchanan
I was born, raised, and educated in Newark, New Jersey. After graduating from Arts High School in Newark I attended Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. It was then that I first set my pen to pad, written expressions of my love for poetry.
My pad to pen accomplishments now includes three volumes of poetry; Thoughts, Thoughts & Reflections, and Quiet Times; five yet to be published children's stories as well as several unpublished novels. I have published eleven novels to date. When asked about the genre’ I often teasingly say, “Reality Fiction”. My eleventh novel and latest work is Duplicity, the third novel in what is now The Mince Family Saga.
I retired from the State of New Jersey where I was a Sergeant in the Department of Corrections. I am a proud mother, wife, and grandmother, now residing in North Carolina. As a full-time author, my preferred genre’ is romantic fiction, but readers will attest they all have suspense, mystery and a dramatic twist. It is my goal to become a successful author without limits, writing and producing plays that feature my poems as well as adaptations of my novels on the “big screen”.
This diverse author is available for interviews, chats, signings, and speaking engagements. I welcome all to visit my website www.nanettembuchanan.com or contact me via email firstname.lastname@example.org.
